The world is covered in snow all the time, and the only way for people to survive is to make the city bigger. To grow, the city needs resources like coal and oil, and its citizens need food and warmth. In Frostpunk 2, you must deal with this continuous cycle of supply and demand.
As the number of citizens grows, governing them and meeting their needs becomes more difficult. As the Steward, you must deal with the needs of many groups in the city. The people of your city want to be able to give their opinions on how things are run. Each group has its own beliefs and ideas for the future, but they all share one thing in common: a strong desire for power. Choose your allies in the Council Hall wisely.
The story of Frostpunk 2 is set in the frozen wastes and spans multiple chapters. This campaign is about the life of the Steward, and it lets you feel the burden of leadership by giving you responsibility for thousands of lives. At the same time, the sandbox mode, called Utopia Builder, allows you to experiment with social and infrastructural changes without a time limit. Frostpunk 2 comes with a comprehensive and versatile modding tool. With FrostKit, you can create your own maps, models, and scenarios within the game. The sky’s the limit for where your city can go!
